Coming SoonWhy It Matters
One convention can only reach so far. A statewide network of events reaches the whole of Texas and the whole of its literary culture.
Bringing authors and readers together in person builds a literary community that a single annual event never could.
Texas is vast. Events in different cities mean more readers and writers can take part without crossing the whole state.
Each city has its own writers. Showing up where they live puts local authors in front of the readers nearest to them.
From the Gulf Coast to West Texas, every region has its own voice. The network is strongest when it reflects all of them.
