Using the platform

TEX.A.N. is an event and author discovery platform. If you use the site, submit a profile, or send us content, you are responsible for the accuracy and legality of the information you provide.

Public content review

Author profiles, books, links, and other public-facing content may be reviewed before publication. We may update, remove, reject, or hide content when needed to maintain quality, safety, accuracy, or a clear public experience.

No guarantees

We do not guarantee book sales, event attendance, sponsorship results, vendor outcomes, or any specific level of exposure or engagement.

Author tables and payment

The author table fee reserves one table for the full event weekend (Saturday and Sunday) — it is not a per-day fee. Friday is author setup only; it is not a table day. One registration also includes one TEX.A.N. shirt and access to the Hyatt Regency San Antonio Riverwalk author hotel discount, which is provided privately to authors with a completed table payment.

Author-table registration is offered at an Early Bird rate through a published deadline, after which the standard rate applies automatically. The included benefits are the same at either rate. The price shown in your portal at the moment you check out is the price you are charged. Cancellations and refund requests are handled manually by the organizers — contact us using the email below. Paying for a table does not guarantee that your author profile will be approved or made public; profile approval is a separate review handled by our organizers.
